48” steel beams fastened to each pedestal head in a 24” x 24” grid pattern, frame the layout area for the access floor panels.
The steel stringers come with an optional gasket, used in plenum floor applications.
*Note: When designing your project, stringers are not always necessary. If your project uses bare floor tiles, with static floor loads, you have the option to bolt each panel straight to the pedestal and bypass the need for stringers. However, if you have a bare floor that will have dynamic (rolling loads) across your floor, it is recommended that you add stringers to your system for bracing support.
